Terms of Use

The rules and guidelines for using skipQs.

Last updated: May 2026

By accessing or using skipQs ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users — patients, hospital administrators, and business owners.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and skipQs. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the Platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are registering a business or hospital, you confirm you have the authority to do so on behalf of that organisation.

3. Patient Users

As a patient or customer using skipQs to join virtual queues, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when joining a queue (name, phone)
  • Arrive at the service location when notified — failing to arrive may result in your place being forfeited
  • Not abuse or manipulate the queue system (e.g. joining multiple queues simultaneously to hold spots)
  • Treat service providers with respect

4. Business & Hospital Providers

If you register as a business or healthcare provider, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information about your service, including wait times
  • Manage your queue fairly and serve customers in order
  • Not misuse customer data obtained through skipQs
  • Comply with all applicable local laws, healthcare regulations, and data protection requirements
  • Take responsibility for the quality and safety of services provided to customers

5. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use skipQs to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or staff
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or compromise the Platform
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Interfere with the fair operation of queues

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code on the skipQs Platform is the intellectual property of skipQs. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without our express written permission. Business names, logos, and information submitted by providers remain the property of those providers.

7. Limitation of Liability

skipQs is a technology platform that facilitates virtual queue management. We are not a healthcare provider and are not responsible for the quality, safety, or availability of services provided by listed businesses or hospitals. Wait times displayed are estimates provided by service providers and may vary. We are not liable for any loss, inconvenience, or harm arising from reliance on wait time information.

8. Platform Availability

We strive to keep skipQs available 24/7, but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance, updates, or experience technical issues. We are not liable for any losses caused by Platform downtime.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or provide false information. You may delete your own account at any time by contacting support@skipqs.com.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
